Community Health Partnerships (CHP) is a company wholly owned by the UK Department of Health and Social Care that supports investment in modern healthcare facilities across England. Established in 2001 as Partnerships for Health and renamed in 2007, CHP was created to deliver infrastructure through the NHS Local Improvement Finance Trust (LIFT) programme. Today, its portfolio includes more than 300 buildings used by NHS organisations, GPs, dentists and pharmacies – representing around 5% of the NHS estate in England. CHP works with private sector partners to manage and improve these facilities, helping ensure healthcare buildings remain high-quality, sustainable and fit for the needs of patients and communities.
