Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust is one of the largest hospital trusts in North Kent, with services at five sites serving the rapidly expanding populations of Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley and Bexley.

We have approximately 4,300 exceptionally talented and motivated staff working across our sites and are proud that our services are rated as ‘Good’ overall by the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

With the local population set to grow by 26% by the year 2041, we recognise the importance of not only delivering outstanding care today but also in preparing for the future, which is why we have a strong focus on innovation and improvement and are committed to working closely in partnership across the Kent and Medway Integrated Care System and local heath and care partners.

To underpin this, in November 2025, we strengthened collaboration by forming the county’s first group with Medway Foundation NHS Trust. In working together as a group, the two Trusts can share strengths and expertise, learn better from each other and drive innovation to improve services, care and clinical outcomes for our patients across Kent, Medway and beyond.
